Join the Atlantic Model Engineering Society

AMES is a registered, non-profit society in Nova Scotia.  AMES operates the TC&WR and is active in all aspects of model engineering, machining, metal craft, casting and related activities.  Members of AMES come from all walks of life - experience in model engineering is not required and tools and equipment are available for those who would like to take up the hobby but do not have their own. Being a member of AMES is one of the least expensive and most rewarding ways to get into the model engineering, live steam and outdoor model railway hobbies

If you would like to know more about joining AMES, contact us at:

The TC&WR needs you!  You could learn to drive an electric, internal-combustion or a steam train or even a lawn tractor!  The TC&WR runs on volunteers and needs train drivers, station masters, line workers, gate and parking attendants, groundskeepers, etc, etc.  When you join AMES, you automatically become a member of the TC&WR and can participate in any or all the activities.
